Remote Repair (RR) / Logistics Advice for GrieferGeddon 2.0

1) Pair up and repair each other as well as the Exhumer. Shield repper with shield repper, armor with armor. This will make ganking your logistics ship much harder. If you have a choice, choose shield. 

2) If you are going at it alone, use in-expensive t1 cruisers. use the Osprey for shield repair or Exequror for armor repair. Passive-tank it: put armor plates and hardeners on the Exequror or shield extenders on the Osprey. Done correctly, it should take just as many destroyers to take out your 5 to 10 million isk logistic ship as it does to take out an 180m isk Hulk. I will handing out un-fitted Exequrors and Ospreys near many major trade hubs for api-key verified losses posted to the GrieferGeddon kill board.

3) Only repair hulks that are tanked! Convo the hulk pilot, tell them it's hulkageddon, and to tank their hulk like this or this but at the very least take off those mining laser upgrades and put shield or armor modules on of your choice!
Bonus: Carry t1 versions for the mods needed to tank a hulk in your cargo and give them to hulk pilots to put on for hulkageddon. If you are repairing shields, carry shield mods and Damage controls. if you are doing armor, carry armor plates.
If they don't want to tank their hulks, don't rep them. But as extra credit, do tell them that if their hulk gets blown up to join GrieferGeddon and hunt the gankers in t1 frigates

4) Understand the new agro mechanics.
Basically, if the hulk you are repping "fights back" with drones, or with a pvp mod such as warp scram, your RR will dis-engage when the hulk needs it most. This means you need to be alert and present at the keyboard when the gank occurs to turn it on again. When you do, you will get a message that you are drawing agro. This is really no big deal because you will be getting agro from ships that Concord is shooting at, but you will need to wait out a 15min agro timer before coming back.
A possible solution to this is to use your own drones to protect the hulk, if they agree to it, although this will result in no tangible evidence (kill mail from the hulk) that the gank occurred.
Feel free to ask the hulk pilot to allow you to use your drones to kill rats if you want to avoid the whole issue.




The "Bird of Pray" Maneuvere 
(the hulk pilot will be praying you arrive in time )

This is a more advanced maneuver. You should not attempt this if you have no pvp experience! Also this is something someone told me about last GrieferGeddon, I have never tried this myself so I don't know if it will work!!!

Put your tanked hulk in a belt mining. Or put a cloaked scout ship 15 km or so from a tanked hulk that is mining.

Put a logistic ship (use nice t2 Logistics here and boost it's signature resolution (targeting speed) as much as you can here!) 500km or more away from the hulk. The logistics ship should not be visible from the overview!

Align the logistic ship toward the hulk. if you are using a scout and someone else's hulk align it to the scout such that the scout is 10km in the opposite direction of the hulk as follows

[cloaked scout] -- 15km -- [hulk] -- 500km -- [Scimitar/Basilisk/Guardian flying toward the hulk]

As soon as reds appear in the belt (or when non-red gankers turn red) warp the Logistics toward the hulk (5km from hulk) or 20km from scout (this will land it 5km from hulk). now just like tackling, target the hulk as fast as possible and rep him!

The distances are just an example, the idea is to warp in close enough to target and repair the hulk.
